How do I check the current transfer status of my
domain? |
You can see the current status of your pending
domain transfer by login to:
http://hostsite.com/login-account.html, and then click on "Transfer Status" link.
That transfer status page will tell you what exactly steps
you have left to do
in order for your transfer to go through successfully.
If your domain transfer
is here, that page should show a "completed" status.
Another way you can verify that your domain transfer
has been completed successfully
is by
looking up your domain's WHOIS record. If you
see HostSite.com listed as
the registration service provider in the WHOIS, then
you know for sure that
your domain is here. After the transfer is
completed, you should also notice
in the WHOIS, that your previous expiration date has
been extended by 1 year.
