How do I transfer my domain registration to
HostSite.com
so that I can manage
and renew my domains at HostSite instead? |
You can transfer your domains away from any other
domain registration provider
over to HostSite.com, and make us your new domain
registration provider. As you do this,
you will be able to renew using our lower rates and
conveniently manage your domains
through HostSite instead.
To move your domain registrations here:
1. You can submit a transfer request at:
http://hostsite.com/transfer-domains.html
2. Remember to approve your confirmation emails sent
to the administrative contact
listed in your domain's WHOIS record.
3. To see the current status of your pending domain
transfer,
please login to:
http://hostsite.com/login-account.html
and then click on "Transfer Status" link.
That transfer status page will tell you what exactly steps
you have left to do
in order for your transfer to go through successfully.
4. When your domain is transferred here, 1 year, is
added to your domain's
previous expiration date automatically. After a successful
domain transfer
and renewal for 1 year, we will finalize the pending $13.95
charge for the transfer.
If your transfer did not go through, you will not be billed
the pending $13.95,
since we did not renew your domain name.
5. You can verify that the domain transfer has been
completed successfully
by either
looking up your domain's WHOIS record, or by
logging into your Account Manager.
Please note: If you would like to transfer
your domain registration to HostSite,
please do it well in advance of your domain's
expiration date,
since expired domains can not be transferred.
You will never lose any registration time by
