Domain Registration Questions

Question: How do I check my domain's expiration date?
1. If the domain is here at HostSite.com. You can login to Account Manager.
2. Click on "Domain Accounts" link.
3. That page will show you a list of all your domain names that you have here
     and their corresponding expiration dates.

You can also check your domains expiration by looking up the WHOIS.

However, the expiration dates for the .org domains using WHOIS are not considered reliable.
There is a well known problem at the root .org registry where .org lookups will return the
incorrect expiration date if the domain is already past the expiration date.
Expiring .org domains will erroneously push up the expiration date by 1 year
automatically after the expiration date, which is very misleading.
As of today, this WHOIS bug affects all .org domains regardless of where you do the lookup.
The only thing you can do is to remember to renew your .org domains, and to not rely
totally on the WHOIS expiration date for those.

However, if you log into your Account Manager, you should get the correct expiration
date for the .org domain name.
