hosting servers, you have to change the
DNS Nameservers listed for your domain name to:
ns1.hostsites.com
ns2.hostsites.com
ns3.hostsites.com
After you changed your
DNS Nameservers, your website should start resolving
in 24 to 48 hours. |

at HostSite.com,
changing the DNS Nameservers listed for your domain
is very easy to do here.
No special knowledge is required. You do not even
have to know what a
DNS NameServer is in order to do this.
1. Login to your
Account Manager
2. Click on "Domain Accounts" link
3. Click on the domain name you want to manage.
4. Click on "Change DNS NameServers" link.
5. Edit or add your DNS NameServers listed on that
page.
You're done when the page shows all three NameServers listed
as:
ns1.hostsites.com
ns2.hostsites.com
ns3.hostsites.com
6. In 24 hours, you should be able to see your
website resolve on the internet
as those three DNS Nameservers propagate worldwide.

Yes, you can manage your hosting account from the
internet through your WebSite Manager.
1. Login to
Account Manager
2. Click on "Hosting Accounts"
3. Click on the "WebSite Manager" button next to
your hosting domain name.
4. You will be logged into your website manager, and
you can manage your
hosting account from there. Inside the WebSite Manager there
is a file manager
to do your uploads and downloads. However, a better way to
upload and download
is by using FTP. |

You can either use FTP software or use the
file manager inside the WebSite Manager.
If you are using FTP, your
setting are:
hostname:
ftp.your-own-domain.com
(replace 'your-own-domain.com'
with your hosting domain name)
username:
your-own-domain.com
(replace 'your-own-domain.com'
with your hosting domain name)
password: (your hosting
password)
If you do not already have FTP software, you can get
a free FTP software called
FileZilla. |

You need to login to Account Manager to reset your
hosting password.
1. Inside
Account Manager.
2. Click on 'Hosting Accounts' link
3. Click on the "settings" link next to the hosting
domain name that you want to manage.
4. Click on the "change hosting password" link, and
the rest is self explanatory from that point. |
